August 26, 2008 – This year’s
Kool Kidz Classic Eight Goal Polo Tournament on Saturday, September 6, sponsored by
Kool Kidz Foundation, and held on the polo fields of
Cedargate Farms in Newnan, Georgia will feature culinary delights from some of Atlanta’s finest, including fully catered dinners, delectable desserts, plus unique tapas and appetizers. Gold Tent ticket holders will be treated to renowned Chef Todd Hogan’s (of
Chef Todd Hogan Events) “Taste of the Twisted South” eclectic menu, which features his unique version of some Southern favorites, including grilled Hopping John quesadillas, Southern sage fried Cornish game hen with jalapeno buckwheat honey, sweet potato Andouille hash with chipolini onions and ginger beer ice cream “floats with attitude.” Silver tent ticket holders will enjoy a “Taste of the South” menu from Executive Chef David Silverman of
Strip, including jerk marinated chicken with black bean and mango salsa as well as Cajun jambalaya with andouille sausage and crawfish, along with delectable sweets by Mirlene Mangones of
Sugar Coated Cravings.
Gold and Silver Tent ticket holders can whet their appetites in the Party Tent immediately following the Polo Match, and enjoy the culinary creations of Ofer Ayal of
Eclipse di Luna, Ignacio Barquera of
Relish Restaurant, Todd Hogan of
Chef Todd Hogan Events and David Silverman of
Strip.
Cold brews will be provided by Atlanta’s own
5 Seasons Brewing, known for its world-class, premium selection of beers.
Gold Tent tickets at $150 per person include catered meal, open bar and evening party tent admission following the match and Silver Tent tickets (
new this year) at $85 per person include catered meal, cash bar and evening party tent admission following the match. Tickets are still available and can be purchased

This annual fundraiser features exceptionally talented local, national and international players in a high quality, exciting match. In addition to the championship polo match, activities include silent and live auctions, champagne and divot stomping, best hat and tailgate contests, children’s activities, as well as an evening party with live music featuring
Rockasaurus. Gates will open at 3:00 pm.
