September 25 Event Will Feature Corporate Success Stories and Healthcare Leaders

...Partnership to Share Measurable Returns on Healthy Workforces

ATLANTA (August 20, 2008) Did you know that the health of your company’s workforce directly impacts your bottom line? More importantly, did you know that the impact of a healthy workforce on healthcare cost, profit and productivity is measurable?

The Healthcare Society of the Technology Association of Georgia, will answer these questions and more in an upcoming event, titled “Building and Measuring the Return on Healthy Workforces”.

Speakers will include globally recognized experts on healthy workforces, and corporations that are creating and realizing the benefits of healthy workforces.

The event, sponsored by Northrop Grumman and Horizon Software International, will feature speakers from corporations including Verizon Wireless, Northrop Grumman, Matria Healthcare and Horizon Software International.

Following corporate speakers, Dr. David Satcher, will provide the keynote address for the event. Dr. Satcher, whose past healthcare leadership roles include Surgeon General under President Clinton and Director of the CDC, recently founded the Satcher Health Leadership Institute and is one of the world’s leading experts on reducing health disparities and building healthy communities.

The event will be held Thursday, September 25th, from 7:30-10:00am at Morehouse School of Medicine’s National Center for Primary Care (NCPC) Auditorium, 1st Floor, 720 Westview Drive, S.W.
